Industrial Automation AI Workflows Product Delivery
Explore My Work
Software project manager and developer focused on automation, industrial software, AI workflows, and digital tools that help teams work faster and more effectively.
I combine software development, product thinking, and hands-on manufacturing experience to build tools that solve practical problems. My work includes web platforms, production software, AI assistants, automated workflows, CAD-based systems, and customer-facing digital products.
I currently manage and support software products for manufacturing equipment, helping move projects from early planning through delivery, release, and ongoing improvement. I enjoy taking taking a look at a problem, identifying the right solution, and turning it into clear, reliable tools for both customers and internal teams.
My background also includes CNC and laser cutting, 3D printing, technical sales, photography, Photoshop, and hands-on fabrication.
Outside of work, I serve in my church’s technical and youth ministries as an audio engineer, lighting operator, bassist, and tech team leader.
I build practical software, AI workflows, digital products, and marketing tools that help teams work faster and serve customers better.
Project manager for software that powers EasyFrame’s automated marking and cutting systems. We use linear optimization to reduce material waste, processes production files from major design platforms, tracks cut completion, and re-optimizes remaining cuts as production needs change.
A cloud-based shop management solution providing a paperless workflow for EasyFrame customers. My longest-standing and most technically complex project — continuously developed since January 2022.
Built an AI tool to automatically check and validate EasyFrame saw files for issues, reducing manual review time.
Built an AI workflow that turns plain-language wall-building requests into production-ready EasyFrame saw files — eliminating the need to spend hours learning expensive design software. Deployed on Abacus AI and used daily in production.
A custom ChatGPT fork used internally and by customers for questions, support, and troubleshooting about the EasyFrame Saw and software. Reduced repetitive support load and improved customer self-service.
Redesigned the EasyFrame Saw website from the ground up and developed new marketing content — growing monthly traffic from approximately 1,000 to 15,000 visits. My favorite website I've designed.
My first shipped desktop application — a cut list generator built with C#, WPF, and XAML. Demonstrated my ability to move beyond web development into native application development.
Shot and produced a series of marketing videos for EasyFrame products. Demonstrates the ability to bridge technical, product, and creative work — from scripting to final edit.
April 2026 – Present
Leading product and delivery across multiple internal software applications for Simpson Strong-Tie equipment. Coordinating cross-functional teams, managing roadmaps, and driving features from scoping through release.
January 2023 – April 2026
Continued full-stack web and software development following Simpson Strong-Tie's acquisition of Estiframe Technologies. Maintained and expanded existing platforms while contributing to new internal tooling.
January 2022 – January 2023
Built and launched the easyframesaw.com website and developed multiple internal software applications used daily in production.
January 2022 – January 2023
Sold and supported hsbcad — a 3D CAD design platform — alongside the in-house developed EasyFrame Cloud, helping customers transition to a fully paperless shop workflow.
August 2021 – January 2022
Used CAD-based software to 3D model and prefabricate homes, producing accurate material lists, panel sheets, and layout sheets for manufacturing.
March 2020 – August 2021
Led a 3-person team building a feature-heavy web platform and two companion apps. Owned project planning, feature prioritization, and cross-team coordination.
March 2021 – August 2021
Overhauled the company's digital presence — rebuilt the website, set up automated email and SMS workflows, and integrated a new CRM to improve lead management and reduce manual follow-up.
March 2021 - March 2022
I learned:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, SQL
August 2016 - June 2020
The important classes I took were CAD, Mechatronics, Design and Implementation, Principles of Engineering, Woodworking, and Yearbook
In those classes I learned how to do: CAD, woodwork, welding, metal work, wiring, arduino, minimal levels of coding, work with robots, CNC, laser-cut, 3D and 2D design, 3D and 2D printing, use power tools, photoshop, video editing, word docs, powerpoint, and excel
